Ramblings of the Week, April 10

This weekend was a social horror for me.

I had to do a birthday party for a two year old on Saturday and we were there from 10 to 10 with lots of loud obnoxious people and by the time I was able to go home I was more than done.

Two good things, I helped her color Easter eggs and at one point she stuck her little hand in the green dye because she was tired of trying to pull up the little scoop the egg dye color comes with. Then her little grubby hand was green. Very cute.

The other was one of the guests was fostering kittens and they were tiny, one of them barely two weeks old, and she brought them because they have to be fed every few hours. And they were very cute. Here are two of them on her lap.

One little guy thought he was going to fall and my arm was the nearest thing to grab on to.

Please ignore the ridiculous whiteness of my skin. The mottling too. Please and thank you.

Yesterday was yet another social thing, this one for an adult, but at least it was in a beautiful location. Carpenteria.

I am socialized out. Woke up with a killer headache today as a matter of fact.

Next up on the updating is “What Happened to Spock?” Angst is coming.

Now I just need some serious coffee and alone time. Yes. Alone. Thank you.

owwww! that looks painful. And you know I know those scratches. heh.
Gorgeous is right! (the rest of the day aside.)

Definite down time is needed. I fully support this. And coffee. I always support coffee.
    Here’s wishing the headache goes!

Oh my, that does sound like social horror. Big hugs!
The kittens look so cute! Sorry one grabbed on to you so it wouldnโ€™t fall. Ouch, thatโ€™s looks like it hurts a lot. Put some antibiotic cream/ointment on it! (sorry my inner grammy came out there LOL)
I would be socialized out as well. Drink some coffee and have your alone time ๐Ÿ˜Š

I have had my share of scratches from Jim, he is too possessive over Lee. Jim takes a nap on Lee at times and I can’t get near Lee without Jim hissing. I have earned several marks from our tabby and learned not to impose on nap time.

My hands are showing age spots now, something Lee has a decade or more to have to worry about. It’s the only thing I dislike about aging, that and I cannot eat like I used to in my youth.

Sorry about the social weekend, heal up and take care. (((hugs)))

Right. So here I was thinking a kid grabbed you and left that mark until I realized it was one of the cats. It was, right? Still, that sounds like too much socializing for me as well. Don’t get me wrong, I like being social, but not that long.

I don’t really like cats, but those little ones are really cute.
