LOL, reading Kris’ comment, I can see how different likes for characters can have an effect on how you read something…because what I read is Jim trying to tell Uhura what Spock did, that it was actually Spock’s fault and not Jim’s, but of course Uhura doesn’t listen. Then Uhura bashes Jim’s lack of apology to Spock, he tells her what happens and she has to admit that Jim wasn’t the one at fault. And Jim, with that big heart of his, forgives both of them. š
Of course, that might be just today’s mood, because nothing at work turns out like I want it ;). Good thing there’s a drabble to distract me. Happy weekend!

I have a feeling Nyota and Spock are broken up for a reason. She probably can list 3 things Spock did wrong in their relationship to every one Jim can name and she knows the only thing that works is…just apologize …and then Spock, being the brilliant, logical being he is, will get it through his dumb, thick skull that it really IS his own fault, not Jim’s, and apologize and fix it.
I LOVE Jim’s stink eye. ALWAYS. And I love that scene in the movie. What’s that even like???
I love Jim and Spock. But even so, neither should let the other steamroll over them. They each have rights in their relationship.
And 2 men in a relationship? What IS that even like when they fight? And 2 geniuses? That takes it to a whole ‘nuther level.

Good advice from Uhura! Go and say sorry, instead of being stubborn. Then they can spend all shore leave making up after their fight. Iām thinking the foot over Jim endangering himself once again. Spock of course feels it was unnecessary!
