Jim was just falling asleep in bed when…
“Fuck!”
He jumped up, yanking his naked legs away from the ice cubes that had just been plastered to them.
Spock stared wide eyed and remorseful at him.
“I…”
“How the hell did you get your feet that cold?”
“I apologize.”
And then Spock was moving to get out of Jim’s bed.
Jim put his hand on Spock’s arm.
“No. Please. Stay.”
“It was not my intention to disturb you. I was finished meditating and…wished to join you.”
“I know. Stay.”
Spock returned to lying beside him.
“I want you here.”

See, in the 23rd century, beds should automatically warm themselves when ice cube feet touch the sheet. (I’m a poet and didn’t know it). Anyway, somebody needs to invent that even today! 🧊👣

Always wondered whether Spock would have warmer skin or colder skin. He comes from a planet with a hotter climate. Which maybe means he’s hotter, skin temperature wise that is??? We already know that he’s a hottie! But then again his pulse is elevated, so does that mean he cools off quicker as his blood circulates? I’m probably just overthinking all of this.

I’m probably crazy but I think Spock or any Vulcan, actually, would be similar to Humans. Sometimes he’s hot, sometimes he’s cold. But what do I know?

At least Jim didn’t kick out at the cold feet. That might’ve been my reaction. LOL. Of course Jim wants Spock there, ice cube feet and everything. 🙂
