Oops! I meant to publish this Monday! HA. Oh well
Here we are at the beginning of another week. A full work week, though this coming weekend is a three day one for both of us. Teachers in LA start their strike, too. And it’s supposed to be rainy for the next several days.
I intend to get chapters up for The Experiment. I also intend to, cross your fingers, get the next chapter up for The Mysterious One. I need to get something written for Friday too.
I need to get moving more this year, so we went for a walk Sunday afternoon. It was all right. Because of the rain, that might be it for the week, we will see.
I am getting stuck seeing The Mule on Tuesday (Clint Eastwood). I have no desire whatsoever to see it, but M and his cousin want to see it so I agreed. I will advise how it was.

Ugh on the full work week. I’m also not looking forward to that.
Yay on the walk! But too bad for the rain. I mean not Bc you need it. You always need it. But yeah. It’ll keep you from taking more walks.
Very much looking forward to those updates! I can’t wait.
Mwha! Have a good week!

Enjoy your week. Hope you enjoy the most vie. I never heard of it. I’m concerned… next weekend there is a potential for a big winter storm. And I’m working next wee kend! Depending on which website you look at, it could be a big deal with 16 inches of snow or it could be a couple of days with only a few inches. I truly hate driving in and digging out of snow. Hoping it blows out to sea. Sigh! Nothing like struggling in to work and then getting stuck there and then sleep on a mattress on the floor (during the day, since I work nights) Ughhh! ❤

I heard this song and it’s haunting me. I wanted to share it. To me, it has a very angsty Spirky vibe to it… just change the pronouns.
Dermot Kennedy “For Island Fires and Family”.
I was actually looking for another song by this artist that I’d heard on the radio. Filmed on the Aran Islands off the coast of the West of Ireland.

I’ll stop bombarding you with posts from me… after this news story from Australia that popped up on my phone a short while ago.
Not sure if the link works. In case it doesn’t, try Googling it. it’s a story about a male penguin couple, called Sphen and Magic, in an Australian aquarium that appeared to be bonded. They were making a nest together. Seems the heterosexual couples were all laying eggs but were neglectful parents and no eggs were hatching. Apparently female penguins typically lay two eggs but only can raise one. So the aquarium gave Sphen and Magic and egg to hatch and raise. Which they did successfully. There’s some sweet videos of them and a nice story about them here. It was in The NY Times.
