Ramblings April 15, 2019

Hello friends

Last week’s flash fic was a Mirror flash. I do love to include those sometimes. This coming Friday I get a little…odd. Or do I? You will decide.

Then that only leaves one more scheduled for April. Which means I need to begin writing and scheduling May flashes!

As you know this weekend my Saturday was taken up by a four year old’s party. Sunday was chores and a bit of shopping.

Coming up this week in updates: My Heart’s a Virgin. Not sure how many more chapters I’ll have for this one. I want them a little more settled into life on New Vulcan before I say goodbye, but you can expect a wrap up on this one in the not too distant future. All I Ever Wanted. They are headed to New Vulcan to see what can be done for Jim, if anything, and to examine their damaged bond and perhaps repair it. If I can get to it, with everything else, a new chapter of Transfer Request will also appear.

This coming weekend is Easter. M and I have Friday off. His company gave it to them as a “spring” holiday and I just took it off as paid time off. On Easter we are going to the family’s house for a Lobster Easter dinner. I make baskets for everyone because I am a nerd.

I have now finished 3 chapters of the Pinto Regency, The Thought of You is Consuming Me, which is due to return to A03 on May the 5th.

Our warm spring weather has officially arrived. Hope yours has too.

Please bear with me as I work on the conclusion of Bitter Frost. I am not sure when I will post the next chapter. Perhaps today, perhaps tomorrow. It will depend on how much I can get done on it.

I had some days off from work so I am a bit swamped right now, though I do intend to write at lunch.

I am fasting today so I am grumpy!

Once Bitter Frost is finished (I have it listed as 3 more chapters but if I can get it done in 2, I will), I will probably update The Swap, before moving on to The Ties That Bind. But that is in the distant future right at the moment.

Coming up this Saturday is Aria’s 4th birthday party (friend’s grand niece), so we will be going to that. I am very underthrilled, but you do what you have to do, I guess.

It’s warm today. I mean seriously warm. Like 90. Sigh. Guess our cold weather and rain is done now. Supposed to be hit by severe wind tomorrow too.

No movie this week or next but after that I should get back into it. I have lots to watch at home, so it’s fine.

Rambling Updates

My Devotion is updated! Ouch, what a chapter that was to write. SO SAD.

Next up when I get to them is Kirk’s Children and Didn’t We Almost Have it All.

I have now gotten through 5 episodes of season 1 of Discovery. I really liked episode 5 (definitely more than episode 4), so far I am quite liking it and the characters are great. I look forward to finishing it so I can get to the Pike season, 2. I love Bruce’s Pike an insane amount, but I have to say Anson is a hottie and I can’t wait.

Ramblings March 25 2019

The Flash is done (very short, I am afraid) and scheduled.

Best Friends is done. And yay. Part 2 will debut in the coming months.

As I looked at my spreadsheet of concluded stories, I saw that I am up to 135 completed. This makes me very happy, because it means I have way more done than hanging out there. So go me!

This is going to be an emotionally challenging week for me as M leaves for his visit to his aunt’s Friday morning. It’s for a week and I’ll survive, but you know. I am like a weepy Jim over parting with Spock.

Next up I hope is the update for Bitter Frost. I am looking to get that one done soon as it’s time to get the ball rolling on the conclusion and Spock being reunited with his captain. Then um, likely The Swap, Transfer Request and Maybe, Probably.

Sunday night we had dinner with the cousin at Corner Bakery. Was nice enough to sit outside.

In the continuing saga for my purchase with Paramount Movies, I was able to transfer the digital copies of all three to VuDu and Fandango. Fine. Of course I have hard copies of all three, so woopiefuckingdo. But I had also purchased digital Bonus Features for all three movies. This has disappeared off the face of the earth. Not on Vudu, not on Fandango. Ultraviolet does not list them. Only place that does is Paramount. I have now emailed them twice. Nothing. Emailed Ultraviolet. Expect to hear nothing. Basically I am being screwed out of stuff I paid for. It sucks. Paramount is EVIL.

St Patrick’s Day Ramblings 03/17/2019

Well. This week I really plan on doing the next chapter of My Heart’s a Virgin. That is absolutely next. Then another chapter, maybe two to conclude Best Friends. But at least one.

After that, we shall see what I want to work on. I’ll need a flash for Friday. There’s one coming for Kris on Tuesday too. That one is written.

Today I have laundry and eating and um, well, whatever, I guess. HA HA

I really really want to post new stuff. I am SO resisting. But it’s hard. Not going to lie.

Rambling for the first of March

A lovely artist has been doing some illustrations for some of my stories and her latest one is for Didn’t We Almost Have it All, please, go and check it out, Artwork.

Coming up this first week in March is another chapter of Maybe, Probably. Also the next chapters for When I Loved You, Didn’t We Almost Have It All, and The Experiment (as you know I am looking to wrap this one up soon). Also a new Flash. Don’t know what yet, but I am sure I will surprise both myself and you.

Today I had off for a bunch of errands I had to do and to cuddle with Luna, who has become so spoiled and needy, you wouldn’t believe it. I returned some shoes I had ordered online that didn’t work for me, went to the grocery store, another grocery store and the PetSmart for food for Luna. While I was there I went to the cat adoptions. They were behind glass but there were two teenager cats in there with an employee and when I peeked in at them their eyes got super big. HA HA. Poor kitties.

I have had too much coffee I think because I am jittery and emotional. It’s weird. I think I had something of a meltdown on social media. Oh well. I think it will be best for me to stay away a couple of days, for the most part. I did unfollow someone today on there because I couldn’t even remember why I was still following her in the first place, HA.

Supposed to rain all weekend. I am ready for SUNNY SPRING.

Kris’s birthday is this month so I need to write her a flash. Please note, I will take requests for Birthday Flashes but you MUST remind me well in advance when your birthday is. I should remember. I absolutely agree. But I don’t. So if you want something tell me ahead of time and what you’d like in it. For Kris, I know she likes hurt/comfort so that is what she will get.

Ramblings 02/26/2019

I Miss Crazy

Okay, so The Mysterious One and My Devotion have both now been updated.

I must now turn my attention the the flash for this week before anything else, but I am pleased I was able to get those updates done!

In other news they are predicting rain for us this weekend. Sigh. We go years without rain and now it all has to come at once! Grrr

Yesterday was a fasting day and by the time I went to bed I was feeling pretty miserable. I had a headache and felt icky. M tested me though and my blood sugar was at 89 so not too low or anything. I probably just felt sorry that I wasn’t eating! HA HA.

No movie out tonight as there is nothing we want to see but we have a Netflix DVD we might watch. RIPD which is supposed to be super bad. HA HA.

For the last week and a half I have met my step goal of 10,000 steps every day so that’s good for me! Hopefully eventually all this stuff will pay off to lower the blood pressure so I don’t pop a vein or something. Family history, so you know.

March is coming and without Daylight Savings Time and Spring. YAY

Today I updated Bitter Frost. My poor past Jim is tugging on my heartstrings. Also wrote a flash for Friday, so hopefully, you look forward to that.

Up next for updating is Nine Lives. Hopefully I can get to it in the next day or so. I’ll see if there’s anything else I can get to but I’m feeling a little crazy right now. But I promise I will keep updating something at least.

Saturday night we are going to some bingo event with the sister she asked us to go to. You don’t win money, I think just prizes. It’s a charity thing.

I greatly look forward to the weekend even so. I’m struggling a little this week mentally and I’m not even sure why, but I keep looking ahead to the weekend and sleeping and chilling (maybe literally because it’s still cold HA)

I ordered more of my current obsession. These cookies with buttercream frosting. I had them at Christmas and loved them. I resisted ordering more for V Day but I did order Shamrock shapes for St Pat’s Day with bright green frosting. I need cookies like I need a hole…well you know.

Another current obsession is watching the Kids Baking Championship from Food Network. They are so darn cute! And they are always crying when they mess up. Poor sweet kids.

No I haven’t watched I Am the Night yet but I have 5 episodes DVRd so far. I did finally watch 4 episodes of Zach’s In Search of and I have I think 3 to go. I think there were originally 8 but my DVR helpfully (not) ate an episode.

Rambles February 17, 2019

Grumpy Luna Says Hi

Okay so had a pretty lazy weekend. Didn’t write much, I am sorry to say. You saw what I wrote on The Love of a Lifetime, and other than a single paragraph on Where Do People Like Us Float, that was it man. I opened The Experiment and closed it again.

So, yeah, first up this week will be a chapter of The Experiment, hopefully. I am also going to try to finish Revealing, but if not, you might get another Flash with Surak. Also, up this week is the next chapter of Bitter Frost. When last we left our heroes the Joker had the caped crusaders over a vat of boiling oil. Oh sorry, lapsed into the Batman and Robin 60s television show. Jim had discovered Spock has green blood.

We finally saw the sun again this week though it remains cold for us. Rained some more on Friday though. We’re looking at 50s during the day and 30s at night for the next week or so.

My special dinner turned out great. M has a cold though so no sexy times, damn it.

That’s about it for now. Don’t think there’s anything at the movies we want to see but we have a lot of shows and stuff to catch up on at home, so we shall see!
