I am back from my short trip but quite tired. Here are some pictures for your enjoyment. No I did not win anything this time.
Fun times but I sure am feeling glad I took tomorrow off too.

We speculated that it looked more like fish or an underwater kind of thing but it was pretty abstract so we weren’t sure, but I loved the colors, it was very eyecatching

lolol – i LOVE glass sculpture thing! Name AND the thing. I’m so jealous I could just…..well, I’m jealous, whether you won anything or not. Super jealous. Thanks for the pics. I understand you being tired. Glad you took off too.

we were careful believe me, that being said I am a little on edge myself! Theoretically if I got something I should know by about the end of the week. I was able to order at home tests from my employer so if I feel any symptoms I will test. We kept our masks on at all times unless we were eating or drinking. As soon as anyone sat anywhere near us we immediately put our masks back on if we were enjoying a drink. We even moved if someone got too close. Now, at the restaurant where we had dinner, that was likely our longest exposure, so we will see
Still, a good time was definitely had!

I don’t see why anyone drinking alcohol can get it! I mean, i’ve read consistently that some believe using mouthwash kills it. So drinking all along…..well.
Yeah, half the people I’m close to that have it are vaxed. Half aren’t. Seems to not matter AT ALL. I wear an n95 – but i don’t even believe masks work. Because we’ve always been told viruses are so microscopic they pass right through fibers in any mask. That only a mask with it’s own oxygen supply works against viruses. So what do we believe? I certainly don’t own a gas mask! Fortunately here in this tiny town, the grocery never has more than 20 people EVER at one time, so far apart. And I also read experts say omicron only lives in the air for 10 or so minutes.
But then for 2 years we’ve been slung from one expert’s beliefs to another, with pretty nothing BUT conflicting information.
Like – many more people died after the vaccines started being administered (2021) than in 2020 when there were no vaccines yet. I mean, what can a sane person do with those stats?
I cling to the fact that all of us are here because our ancestors survived the Spanish Flu epidemic of 1918. And any other plagues of the past. That means we’re already heartier stock, right?
Theoretically at least.

?THE 1918 Spanish flu killed millions of people around the world and has been labelled “the mother of all pandemics”.
“An estimated 500 million people across the globe caught the illness, throughout the pandemic…it is estimated that between 20 million and 50 million people were killed as a result of the deadly virus.”
Yet what I said about our ancestors surviving it?
So did the ancestors of the millions around the world who have died of COVID. So – I’m just stupid.

I’m glad you enjoyed your time away. Great idea having a day off after your getaway. I’ve driven home… snoozing in the passenger seat and gone to work at midnight. Not the best of ideas. A day of rest to transition back to the real world is a great idea. Love your photos, especially your rooster 🐔🐡 fish sculpture. It’s quite interesting and pretty.
