Bones gave him the side-eye. “What’s wrong with you?”
They were standing in line to buy some food at the grocery store. Jim had just received a message on his communication device.
“A message from Olivia reminding me about dinner tonight with her father.”
“Chancellor Wilton?”
“Wait. What? You know her dad is Chancellor Wilton?”
Bones rolled his eyes. “Obviously. You didn’t?”
“Well, I do now. But I didn’t before. When were you going to tell me about it?”
“I didn’t know it was relevant. Or that you didn’t know. I figured maybe the rumors were true.”

Ok. I remember this with startling clarity. But can remember the name of the fic. It’s driving me mad. I even tried to search it out. But nope. I fail at everything. I’m sorry.

Took me most of the morning off and on. Sneaky that it wasn’t in the first chapter fo the story, Ivan! 🙂
But I found it. I too remembered this clearly but couldn’t place the rest of the story.

I love these Tuesday Guess the Fiction… although I stink at guessing titles of stories, books, recently watched movies. Idk I’ve always been like this. 🤷🏻♀️
Nevertheless I enjoy these Tuesday stories. Brings me back to s story from the past, which I happily reread.
