My favorite season is arriving in the stores!
Coming up this week a new chapter of Our So-Called Life, another chapter of The Fling, another chapter of Orchestral Maneuvers, another chapter of Stranded 3, and of course the Friday Flash.
Will there be a Wednesday Flash? Only the Shadow Knows…
Friday night I did my first workout at the gym. Looking forward to more.

Happy to hear about upcoming updates. I’d love Fall if it wasn’t followed by Winter. I just dread the hazards of and freezing temperatures of Winter. ❤

Ok, fine.
We are like crepe myrtle country around here. I’ve always had them at my houses. I taught piano at a house that lined their property with pink CM’s – but it was pepto bismol (pepto abysmal) pink. And it always made me a little queasy when I got there every week! haha DIL loves the purple ones. I like the deep red ones myself, but the white always bloom first here and make me happy for summer. So – June wedding-y, I guess.
I do not believe I’ve ever seen Dannon toasted marshmallow or pumpkin pie flavor. I LOVE pumpkin pie, and I’m good without the crust or whipped topping. But I don’t really like other things flavored pumpkin. Purist I guess.
I had the weirdest dream this morning. I’m glad I don’t remember most of my dreams. A tall very old skinny guy with very thick, pure white hair, asked to take me out to dinner. He determined my age by holding up a Snellen Chart, starting at a distance and slowly moving toward me till I could read it. How that determines age, I have no idea, but he did guess correctly – it was practically in my lap by the time I could read it (my RL eyes are better than that). BTW, I just didn’t open the door when he came to take me. I had no intention of going out with the old coot.
And I wrote a song in the dream after that. I hate when I write songs in my sleep. This one was obviously written for an elementary school play, and the song was titled “A-OK” – and now I can’t get the tune and those lyrics out of my head. A Sunday ear wig.
Back to you. A beautiful walking area! And going to a gym. I did that for awhile when I was.maybe 27? The pastor’s wife and I joined. And she was this tiny slip of a person who absolutely did NOT need a gym and I secretly hated her. I was fairly small myself back then, but next to her, I didn’t look it. But I enjoyed the gym and lost like 15 pounds. I think it was more because of being intimidated by all the tiny people there than that I was just exercising like crazy. Oh to be able to move like that again, pain free, and care free.

We have the white ones at work too. But I still like the magenta Crunch Berry ones the best. They do very well here year round because I am guessing they aren’t too fond of the cold.
We were walking around checking out all the changes in the air already and we aren’t even out of August yet. Yesterday was perfect weather-wise though it’s supposed to get hot later this week. M has a new app on the phone that you can point it at a tree or a bush and it will tell you what kind it is. It was SOOO cool.
I’ve now been to the gym twice. Not today though, as I’ve decided to be lazy on Sunday. It’s only $10 a month for this gym. I have acquaintances who go to Equinox and they are like $200 a month. Who do you think is smarter? Hmm?
Yeah they brought out the Toasted Marshmallow last year around fall. Honestly I thought it was a holiday flavor so was surprised it was paired with the pumpkin pie one in the Fall packaging. But I like both so it was a score for me. Everyone knows I am a huge pumpkin fan. The Spice and the Squash. Love. Plus I love fall decor too. Almost as much as Christmas. I get very excited to decorate. ha ha
I was thinking I needed to do a Spirk Halloween tale like I have before but you guys are all so chicken I may not bother. Plus I already have my October flashes that aren’t scary or anything anyway.

Fall! I love fall! I hope we have a nice fall. It felt like summer up until Thanksgiving here then went straight into winter.

Not last year’s TG but 2017? It was 95 degrees on that day. It was HORRIBLE. ugh. And that was the year I was super sick too. Not a good memory. Here’s hoping that won’t be the case for either of us this year
