I deleted the “Snow White” story on AO3. it just wasn’t getting the reaction I was hoping for and so I got rid of it. I don’t know if I will go back to it some day or not.

But…

I am discouraged. And depressed. Feeling unappreciated. Whether realistic or not.

I feel like I am writing in a dying fandom or something. I don’t know. But nothing has been getting interest lately and I am getting almost no comments, hits, etc.

Yes, everyone is busy and has lives. But so do I and I don’t write for myself. If I did, I wouldn’t be publishing on a public site.

So, what does this all mean? I don’t know. I really don’t.

I haven’t written the 100 words yet for Friday and I don’t know if I will, frankly. Maybe. We will see.

    😦 I’m sorry you’re feeling discouraged, depressed, and unappreciated. I totally get that. It does seem like readership is down in the Trek fandom right now.
    I was very intrigued by the snow white story and was hoping to continue reading. I just got back into town late last night and will be reading bitter frost soon.
    Big hugs! I do hope you feel better. Take some time off, rest, and relax. Write when you feel like it. I love reading your stories!!

    I have to agree that readership had been down. Many are either on Spring break or taking exams. Sorry that you felt you had to delete the Snow White story but it is your choice. I think some people are fickle when it comes to reading, they change fandoms too often it seems.
