Well, clearly I didn’t get What Happened to Spock updated this past week. It’s on my list for this week though. I think after that it should be Forever I am With You for the week. That may be all you get out of me. We will see. I have a busy weekend ahead of me and when I have busy weekends I tend to get more lazy during the week.
Had some car problems this past week and had to have Billy the car into the shop on Thursday. It cost me a bit of money but could have been much worse.
Friday we had a party with friends over and much food but it also cost me the act of forcing myself to socialize. *shudder*
I decided to DVR Chris’ time on SNL but I haven’t watched it yet. I’ve seen tons of stuff on it though. It always takes me a long time to watch stuff I’ve DVRd but I finally did see all the rest of the episodes of Grimm. Great show. Sorry to see it go.
Sunday was busy as we had the one year birthday part of the Great Niece, Quinn. The niece and nephew (her parents) live two hours away so it was two hours there and two back. Last we saw them was at Christmas. She’s such a cutie, but the whole thing is a little exhausting.
This weekend I have a party on Saturday and a family BBQ on Mother’s Day.
It’s cooled down considerably and we even had a tiny touch of rain.
Remember when I was worried about layoffs at my job? Didn’t get laid off. But I did get more work. So there you go! HA.

Socializing is so taxing and wearying. Take it easy this week to recover from last weekend and to get ready for the upcoming one.
I saw his cold open, and it was fantastic, but I haven’t watched the show in years. Enjoy!

Ivan I thought I knew you LOL. If anyone had told me you weren’t going to watch chris immediately on SNL I would have called them a filthy liar.
I’m shocked. Also, watching chris shake his ass in the mechanic skit was a transcendental experience.

Two secrets about me. I DVR everything I want to watch. I never watch something when it’s first on. LOL. And two, I rarely stay up past 10 even on a weekend! I did love his shaking ass though and I appreciate that you sent it to me.

I think you will enjoy SNL. Chris was amazing on it. My favorite was the mechanic skit 😊

First, I am relieved you did not get laid off. Socializing and be tiresome especially with kids, however I am sure your niece and her parents enjoyed your visit. That photo is beautiful, it gives me inspiration to paint a landscape like that.
Sorry to hear about your car needing repairs. Being the daughter of a mechanic has it’s benefits as I can work on mine as long as it isn’t something like a wheel alignment. That is part of the reason I love classic cars. I would love to be Chris Pine’s grease monkey in more ways than one. (you know what I mean).
Speaking of Chris, I was glued to the TV mesmerized by his charm, Lee kept trying to distract me with his but I was in Chris mode Saturday night. Zachary Quinto was a presenter that night at the GLAAD media awards in NY. I heard he managed to catch Chris’ performance on SNL. I can imagine what went through Zach’s mind seeing his closest friend gyrate his hips in that mechanic skit. For make for a great one shot story right? I may try my hand at that but right now I am behind on everything else.
