I am pretty sure my state ha moved to the sun.

If I can make it to Saturday it’s supposed to be down to 83. I can’t wait. That seems so cool now. LOL
Had to block someone else on AO3. This person felt the need to tell me my stories made no sense and also that I should be tagging my stories for her triggers. So yep, blocked. I just don’t get why people are like that but whatever.
I expect to work over time again starting tomorrow. I am crossing my fingers this might be the end of it. We will see. I have gotten a good start on chapter 3 of A Heart Needs a Second Chance.
Gotta work on more September installments too,
I think that’s all I have to say for now! HA

I’ve been telling you for years you live on the sun. Lol. I do hope it cools down for you though bc that’s just too dang hot.
Ugh. Entitled people. If the story doesn’t work for you, don’t read it! If it triggers you, don’t read it! I will never understand…
Boo OT. I hope that ends for you soon too. You’ve been doing it long enough.

It felt like my state had moved to the sun for much of the summer lol. I’m sorry our states have traded places.
People suck. I’m sorry you had to deal with them. Tags are up to authors discretion. Don’t like, don’t read.
Looking forward to all updates this month 🙂

You didn’t block her.
You just did what she said. Tagged HER for her triggers! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
(Cause apparently your stories ARE her trigger! And she wasn’t smart enough to figure out – uh – self care honey. Just don’t visit ivanw stories! Voila’ – no more problems – right?)
I don’t see how people like that survive – even exist in the world. I’m triggered about 20 times a day. Have been since I was a tiny kid.
It’s called “life.”
And NOBODY promised us every minute of every day of existence was gonna be sunshine and lollipops.
(Oh wait – right now ‘sunshine’ is a trigger for you.)
Delete delete delete
(Oh wait – I’m back on my diet. Lollipops is a trigger for me.)🤣🤣🤣🤣

ha yeah I think I was fairly tolerant of her many comments, including one where her had to tell me my story made no sense. But when she started telling me I was tagging my stories wrong or should add tags to suit her, I was like that’s a nope.
I am definitely triggered by the sun! HA

Reminds me of a “Fools Rush In” Matthew Perry line: (speaking of Las Vegas where he was working temporarily) “…why didn’t they just build this place on the surface of the f***ing sun?”
Y’all are weenies. We’ve had 50 days over 100 this summer. So far. We’ve had 2 other summers the past 10 years with 60+ days over 100. 1980 my further south town’s bank clock said 124 degrees. Texas had t-shirts made.

“North Texas had sweated through 42 straight days over 100 degrees that summer… That year also holds the record for the *most days over 100 degrees — a full 69 days.*”

Oh I have no issues to admitting I am a weenie over the heat. I mean obviously I live in the desert and we have more warm weather than cold and I am A-Okay with that. My parents MOVED here for that. But what I am not okay with is 108 for days on end, so yep I am a card carrying weenie LOL

I don’t get it… If you’re reading something you don’t like or that triggers you, just move along and don’t read it. Like seriously! She should just write her own G-D stories! Tag ‘em how you like them then girlie! Ughhh I hate peoples like that! Definitely entitled!
I’m hoping your weather improves very shortly for you . Climate change is very real. The world needs to heed the extremes it’s been experiencing! I just don’t get people. Even if you don’t believe in climate change, is pumping pollution into the air and the water really a good idea? 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️💔
Hope you get back to regular work hours. OT sucks if it’s unavoidable! Now OT writing Spirk is a whole different matter! Lol!!
Looking forward to reading more of your appropriately tagged stories! …The right amount of angst with a happy conclusion!
❤️💚😘🖖

Yeah and of course the first ones to complain are those who haven’t written anything. But yep I don’t get it either.
I’ve seen the climate difference with my own experiences since I was a kid. So yeah, But I definitely don’t get into debates with people. Not worth that kind of angst. I will stick to fictional angst! LOL

I was just noticing in my email, that I haven’t gotten a single email regarding any ao3 author or story I follow since August 29th. However, I recently started getting emails when someone (you or someone else) responds to my comments on your blog… I’ve never ever gotten those notifications before.
I’m convinced that technology Hates me! I just shut down my phone and restarted it. No idea if that will work. Sigh!!

Sorry for your tech issues, I wondered why you hadn’t read Chapter 2 of my Cheating Jim story, A Heart Needs a Second Chance, but I figured you just chose not to read it! Hope you can figure it out soon!

Boy, it takes all kinds. I could see being upset if there were no tags for infidelity, but it’s clearly tagged on your work. I know that one time I read a story that was supposed to just be a comedy and then, 14 chapters in, it’s revealed that both main characters committed infidelity. That certainly blindsides you and takes away the joy of the story when that’s not what you’re wanting to read about. I’ve always thought you did a great job tagging your stories though and I’ve always appreciated it.
At the risk of sounding like Stephanie Tanner I’d have to say of this person, how rude.
Hope you’ll be cooling off where you’re at soon; I’m certainly not one for temperatures that high, it must feel like your melting, lol; though I know others who can’t get enough of it. To each their own 🙂

Yeah it wasn’t the current work with “infidelity” which of course I tagged. It was an older story from I don’t know 8 years ago. I do my best to tag stories but I can’t and won’t find every single thing someone might have a problem with. And sometimes when I want no spoilers I say “choose not to use warnings” or whatever. Anyway I have no issues with someone not reading simply because they think I suck but I don’t want to hear I suck, ya know? LOL
Supposedly we will get relief Saturday, crossing fingers and toes. We are having a big family barbecue that day (postponed from August when a bunch of us had Covid) so I’d rather have it not 100 plus that day! 😀

I hear you; the amount of things these days that offends/triggers someone is shocking. There’s so many options for people to read that I don’t see why they have to be jerks to those that weren’t their cup of tea. Oh well, kudos on being able to rise above it.
That’ll be great if the temps finally go down; it’ll make it an even bigger celebration for everyone 😉
