So as you know the flashes begin tomorrow and in the meantime I thought it would be fun to share a picture of this year’s Christmas tree.
Oh my yes that is an Enterprise tree topper. Yes you can all be envious. It is interactive and as awesome as it looks.
In addition, I have all the Mirror ornaments that interact with each other, also quite awesome. I would have posted a video but WordPress won’t let me unless I pay extra so that’s a nope.
I saw some people shitting on the Mirror ornaments on Tumblr but since I have them in person I can tell you that they are incredible and loads of fun. Are they exact replicas of the actors? Nope, but they are close enough and their dialogue and sound effects are from the episode. It is a delight.
See you tomorrow and Happy Holidays!

Awesome!! TY for posting.
What does it mean that the Enterprise is interactive?
Could you post videos on Tumblr for us to see/hear? I’d LOVE to since I know nothing about any of them, interactive or not.
Are all the ornaments ST or are there others? (I can’t see without really enlarging it and I’m just too doggone lazy to do that right now)
I am jealous beyond jealousy. I have a 3′ fiberoptic lights tree that I put up yesterday. It (and its twin which was my parents I gave them years ago) were in storage and I hadn’t seen them since I owned my house. So….I’m perfectly happy with it.
Do you still only put up a tree every other year?
Do you decorate your sister’s place this weekend? I’m trying to remember all you do in December.
I just canNOT WAIT for tomorrow and every day till Christmas for the fics. I can just tell they’re going to be the best ever. Though it will be a challenge because it’s hard to top Jim going to the party as 5 golden rings and everyone nagging him that he’s only wearing 4. I just LOVE that! (for more than 1 reason, obviously. *sparkle)
Anyway, let the glad tidings begin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nah it’s not 100% Star Trek by any means. There are plenty that are but just as many that are not. Like I collect Hallmark Elves one that is a series that come out every year since 2013 and they are there. so lots of other stuff.
I’ll see if I can post to tumblr after I redo the video as I am not very good ha ha otherwise I can just email the video to you then I don’t have to worry about other people I don’t know looking at it.
The tree topper plays the Enterprise theme music and Kirk’s “Space the final frontier” speech. It is absolutely awesome. Then with the Mirror ornaments, there is Kirk. Spock, Sulu, Chekov and Uhura. There are two more spaces on the cord so I believe McCoy and Scotty will be coming next year. Anyway, you press Kirk’s button and it gets them all going. The Enterprise starts playing the storm from Mirror Mirror and then a bunch of them start doing the dialogue from the episode. It goes on for several minutes and then at the end it plays the theme music again. It is beyond fantastic. I am, as a thorough geek, thrilled.

I totally don’t blame you for not necessarily wanting to post to tumblr – but again we can just not reblog it and you can delete it after we let you know we saw it.
I MIGHT reblog it – but only to post privately so I can revisit it all year cause you know how I am. OH OH – you COULD post it on ao3 in a christmas folder since most have no idea anything about you.
But selfishly, daggum it, IIIIII want to see/hear it cause I see your geek and raise you one super-nerd.

(BTW – that is TOTALLY INSANE how it interacts. Who comes up with this stuff? Or knows how to even create that? Im blown away just hearing about it.)

The topper is amazing! Also I’m sure they are a delight and just as awesome as they seem.
The tree looks fantastic! I am, in fact, jealous.

Wow! That’s gorgeous! I’m really quite jealous, it is still November you know… I’m keeping with your theme, of jealousy! I have a bunch of Star Trek ornaments, including various Starships, I keep saying one year I will do a second tree just devoted to Star Trek. My kids won’t really tolerate it, since none of them are fans, (I’m a failure as a mother!!lol!!). but I’d enjoy it.
If you do post the video somewhere let me know. I’d love to see it. I understand if you don’t.
We haven’t made progress with getting decorated. We always get a live tree. And there’s been times we’ve gotten it as late as Christmas Eve! 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

My family always did the artificial
Yeah my sister and I are fans but no one else in my family though we made my mother wear a sweatshirt that said “Are you out of your Vulcan Mind?” HA HA HA
my nephew is a big Star Wars nerd, alas
He doesn’t even know what a tribble is!

I saw your tree topper on Tumblr. Love it! I went on Tumblr just specifically to see if you had posted the video. I hardly ever go on there. I’m jealous.

It looks great! I remember when those ornaments came out last year. I was so excited to hear about it then was so disappointed when they didn’t release Mirror Spock; Spock is always my favorite in any form 😉 Thankfully they fixed that mistake this year. 😁

They never release all ornaments in a series the same year, it’s certainly not just Star Trek. It’s called anticipation LOL 🙂
Thanks it’s very cool
