Gorgeous! Not only beautiful grounds but it looks like you had a great day for it. Did the wines taste as good as they looked?

Some were good, some were not to my taste. So I dumped those out. But a number of them were quite nice. I had a very good time 🙂

I don’t see how you can walk after even just a sip of all those!
Everything looks beautiful – except I don’t get the idea of wine that tastes like bacon. Have it for breakfast with pancakes????
Or black cherry with pepper favor?
Yeah, I’m an expert of absolutely nothing. Except I barely remember barely liking a sip of cherry wine we brought back from California when I was 9. Yep – they let me touch it to my tongue. And then I knew instantly. Nope. I don’t like it. But that’s ok. That means I’ll never be an alcoholic, I guess???
But I’d have loved to go, just to be there and take in the scenery and the ambiance. It all looks like just what you all needed. And no fire smoke, right? I always worry about that when they go on and on about how horrible California’s latest fires are.
So glad you have this time…together. To quote Carol Burnett, I guess.

There aren’t any fires near us or where we were, those are all Northern California, not here, at least yet, I will cross my fingers
I tasted no bacon lol. Those descriptions are just what the winemakers like to say about them. You never actually taste those things or I don’t anyway. It was a beautiful day for sure. I didn’t like wine at 9 years old either so I am not surprised. 🙂

In fact they always have some sommelier who is supposed to be a wine expert tell you this is this and this is that and it has strawberry undertones etc, and I’m like sure sure, do I like it or is it gross? So yep most of that is nonsense lol
