During my walk at lunch Friday I took pictures of one of the neighbor’s roses and thought I would share.

I finished The Fling as you all know. It had been a while since I finished one of my ongoing WIPs so it felt good to get it done.
And now the next check in for the T’hy’la Bang if the 18th of this month. If I want art claims I must be 75% done (or if it’s going to be 15,000 words at least 12,000 done). So that’s what I intend to work on for the next little while in April. I’ll keep you posted on how it goes.
Tomorrow we are due a little rain, and I think Monday as well.
I am firmly entrenched at home with work and not going out even to the grocery store. At least for several days. I’m trying to stay in as much as I can. Originally on the 11th, we were supposed to go to a child’s 5th birthday party but that had to be canceled, obviously.
That’s the latest here. Stay in and stay well.

Those are gorgeous, and even more so because when I look at those only, I’d never know the world’s people had a care in the world. Just beauty and light. At least we can’t give roses our virus – but of course, they have their own diseases and bug attacks.
Still, a few moments of sheer beauty is tremendous. Can almost perceive their fragrance.

That’s why I took the pictures because it gives me a sense of comfort and normalcy in all of this and I hoped that would do that for others too. They are just so beautiful. Nature comes up with more beautiful colors than any man could ever invent, I think.

Those are some pretty roses. I will need to do a walk around my neighborhood soon to show its…differences to yours LOL
I’m trying to stay in as much as possible. We go check on the cats. I am trying to order groceries for pick up but there are no availabilities at any stores in a 30 mile radius until Thursday. Sigh. It is understandable though
Hope you had a good weekend!

Yeah we have enough food to last us for a while. It might not be everything we’d normally like to eat but we can deal. Take care!

Love the rides. Really makes you think of warm summer days. They are lovely.
My husband and I just went grocery shopping for ourselves and for my oldest daughter who still insists on staying in her apartment down in Brooklyn.
I had my own cart and loaded up on Vegan food for her. My husband is going to back the trip to deliver it tomorrow evening.
It was surreal at the Wholefoods grocery store. Following the one way tape on the floor and keeping socially distant from one another. My husband is thinking we shouldn’t go shopping for a few weeks and should just use whatever we have after we run out of our usual stuff.
Life has really turned into a sci-fi movie and not in a good way.
Happy First Contact Day! 🖖
❤️😘

Yes we have decided to do the same. Wait until we are out of stuff before venturing out again. I think it will definitely teach us to make do with what we have instead of going yeah I know we have grapes but I want pears. I am guilty of that kind of thing. Bless your husband for taking the things to her. ❤
