Super short this weeks folks for my sanity- Takes place right after Spock kicks Khan’s ass.

“Hey, Spock. Are you okay?”

Spock didn’t even turn around at McCoy’s question. “Of course I am not okay.”

McCoy sighed and stepped up close to where Spock stood looking out the hospital’s observation window looking out at the San Francisco skyline. “He’s going to be all right. It worked.”

“He has not yet awakened.” He heard the quiver in his own voice.

“It’s only a matter of time. Thanks to you. You saved Jim, Spock. He’s coming back to us.”

Spock turned around to see McCoy smiling. He patted Spock’s arm.

“It’s all good, Spock. Get some rest. I’ll let you know the minute he starts to stir.”

“Thank you.”

McCoy went back into Kirk’s room. Spock closed his eyes, feeling the relief flow through him. He turned and headed for the cafeteria. He could use some tea and perhaps something to eat. It had been three days.

Mirror Flash!!!

“Are you still angry?”

Jim sighed. “I’m not angry.”

“Your jaw is clenched. Your fists too.”

“That’s because I want to rip those bangs off—”

Up went the eyebrow. “But you are not angry.”

He sighed again. “Okay. A little angry.”

“I apologize.”

Jim eyed him. “For what?”

“Whatever I have done to displease you.”

He snorted. “It won’t be that easy, pointy.”

“James—”

“Don’t make me have you sent to the booth.”

“You would not.” A pause. “Would you?”

“It’s tempting.”

A kiss on the back of his neck. He closed his eyes.

“I told you it would not be that easy.”

“I worship you.”

“Spock—”

“You are everything and more.”

“Spock—”

“I would die for you.”

“Uh-huh.”

“I would kill for you.”

“And have.”

“T’hy’la.”

“Do not start with that shit.”

“Angel—”

“Hardly.” A hand dipped into his pants and wrapped around his— “Unnhh.”

“Am I forgiven?”

“Yes, yes, anything. Just fuck me already.”

Just a Little Mother’s Day short

Happy-mothers-day-2014-2015

“Hey.”

Winona looked up from the bowl she was mixing pancakes in surprise. “Jim?”

“Happy Mother’s Day!”

“Oh my God! Jim!” She ran at him, throwing her arms around him. She started crying, because she simply could not help it. She had no idea he was going to show up. And here he was, her beautiful son. “How? I thought—”

“We got some leave when we were near Earth.”

She squeezed him. “I can’t believe it. And in Riverside.” She started crying harder.

“Hey.” He pulled back and gave her a quizzical smile. “I thought you’d be happy.”

“I am!” She wiped her eyes. “How long can you stay?”

“Just three days.”

She put her hands to her heart. “Three whole days?” She hugged him again. “You want some pancakes?”

Jim laughed. “Yeah, I’ll have some. But maybe I should make them for you.”

“Don’t be silly.” Then for the first time she noticed Jim’s first officer was standing just inside the side door. She’d never met him, though she knew who he was of course.  “Oh.”

Jim turned to Spock with a smile and held out his hand toward him. “Mom, this is Spock. My husband.”

Winona’s eyes widened and she gasped. “Husband!”

“Surprise.”

Spock stepped forward holding Jim’s hand. “Happy Mother’s Day.”

Her heart bursting, Winona smiled. “Pancakes for all of us, then.”

It was a good day. The best.
