While we are on our cruise is early August, M’s aunt passed away. We knew she was sick but we thought we had more time. M got her Jeep Renegade which she bought in 2020. Long story short, M and M’s sister went to Idaho where aunt lived to settle a few things with her house in early September and drove the jeep back here for two days.
When the aunt owned it, it needed a new windshield as it had cracked, so in the process of registering it in California, M also had the windshield replaced Friday and was coming back an appointment Friday night and got into an accident with a motorcycle. M was fine but the cyclist was injured (foot) and had to be taken to the hospital. The jeep was pretty damaged and towed to a yard. So…we just don’t know what’s going to happen with that.
I went away afterward for the weekend so things are just still…I don’t know. So I hope things work out with this jeep. And good things start happening.

Yeah the motorcyclist had a foot injury but was conscious and speaking so thank goodness for that.

I’m so sorry to hear this! Condolences to M on the passing of his aunt and I’m glad M was no injuried in the accident. But that’s certainly scary. I’m glad that the motorcyclist wasn’t too badly hurt. Motorcycles scare me. Too many motorcyclists drive like they think they are stunt men. Hope the Jeep is fixable! And that luck starts favoring you both! 💕
