From time to time, I will share a post here with a past work and what inspired it. Tonight’s is a whole series,
Pre-Reform Vulcan. I recently saw someone posting a similar idea which reminded me of one of my most popular series. It’s a fun idea so I can see why others love to work with it too.
It began with Stranded
I was inspired by the wonderful artwork here by Mylochka. Her artwork of ZQ’s Pre-Reform Spock was amazing.
I had such a great response to Stranded, I continued with
This story involved Starfleet Jim and Starfleet Spock having some roleplay fun and I really wanted Spock to want to understand what Jim had seen in a more unrefined version of himself
And finally
I felt bad for Pre-Reform Spock who so desperately loved Jim and he deserved his own Jim. He got the very adorable Earth Jim with some help from Starfleet Jim and Spock (his help was reluctant)

Oooh. That’s a good series. I really enjoyed it and thought it was a great twist and interesting twist on what we usually see. I was so glad you finished it up with Spock getting his own Jim. Bc yep, he needed his own Jim.
Then again, don’t we all? 😉

I LOVED that series – every word of every chapter. I loved it.
And I can’t believe we got to live through those days of mylochka’s art – just piece after piece she just wanted to created because she LOVED your writing and works so much. I’m so glad they’re still posted on ao3, that she didn’t delete them.
There’s a good hour’s worth of joy just going through all her posted works.😢😢😢

I agree wholeheartedly. I loved her art. And there have been stories since I’ve greedily gone, man I wish she’d illustrate this. Such a loss for the fandom that she doesn’t create anymore.
But she made my series for Pre-Reform extra special!

I thought it was a one-shot but it sent me to 6, BUT the image at top was NOT the one I meant. I didn’t scroll down further to realize the other one I mean was lower.
