Spock frowned in the act of drying his face after washing. Glanced toward the door that would enter the captain’s quarters.
It sounded like Jim singing, but…
Spock went to the door and tapped on it.
“Captain?”
The door opened to reveal Jim, fully dressed in his uniform and beaming a smile at Spock.
“Morning.”
“Were you just singing, Captain?”
“I sure was.”
Spock frowned. “That your prince would come?”
“Yep. From Snow White. An old old Disney film. I once thought about writing a version with seven Vulcans instead of dwarves but…” Jim shrugged.
“Seven Vulcans?”
“Mm hmm. I like Vulcans.”
Spock arched a brow. “For some reason I picture your version as being…pornographic.”
Jim laughed. “You sure are getting to know me. How’d you sleep last night?”
“You ought to know considering I slept beside you.”
“I know.” Jim grinned. “I just wanted you to say that out loud.”
“You are illogical.”
“Yep.” Jim kissed him. “Bridge, Mister Spock?”
Spock shook his head. He was in for a lot with Jim. And he looked forward to it. “Indeed.”

This is so cute. Spock hearing Jim singing in a private moment, and seeing his confusion is adorable. Just listening to their conversation had me chuckling.
Jim’s explanation is cute. Seven Vulcans indeed! Spock imagining that Jim’s version would be pornagraphic! Lol!!! Spock is learning about his illogical Jim. I have a feeling Jim and Spock will be watching the Disney version together. Just to keep Spock well informed you know. Lol!!
At first we don’t know that they are together, so that’s a lovely surprise. The reveal of their relationship was perfect. Jim asking, “how’d you sleep last night?” Spock’s reply, “you ought to know considering I slept beside you.” Awwwwww!

Well the version I started to write was not pornographic, as implied here, lol. I mean Jim with Spock, yes, but not the seven Vulcans. Unfortunately, it had no readership so I abandoned it.
As for this one, yes! I like to tease the are they or aren’t they in a relationship, it’s a trope of mine for sure!

It was 2018, you might now have been around
Jim was a young prince whose step parent (I forget mother of father now) was jealous of him and wanted to rid the kingdom of him. Jim sees Spock the prince of Vulcan, who he’s like humina humana but then he is forced to flee the kingdom for his life and he ends up at a cabin in the woods where seven Vulcans live and take him in and keep him safe from his murderous royal step parent
