I am working on the final Advent Day for the 24th and it is getting QUITE a bit longer than most of my other flashes.
So, should I continue to just write it even though it’s going to be kind of long for here and set it up to pose here anyway, or should I post it to AO3 and then write something else for this last day of the Advent Calendar?

i would vote that if you feel like posting it here would cramp where you REALLY are inspired to go with it, post on ao3 as a Wip and either write something different here for the 24th – OR just takes pics of more decorations around your neighborhood – make it easy on yourself. You give us so much and so far you have super outdone yourself these past 16 days – as you did in november before, and october before that, etc.
i want you to feel unrestrained as to where your creativity wants/needs to go.
But i support whatever you do. But don’t make MORE work on yourself because you feel pressured from this blog.

I can post pictures either way of course. It’s raining today so I can’t go walking tonight but plan to soon, probably next week.
It’s just going to be unwieldy here. It’s already 3,000 words and only the first part is written, there’s at least two other parts. If the other parts become as long I just don’t find it practical to post it here as a so-called flash, so I’ll see as two others say to post here, sigh

I’m late to the show… the story of my life.
Do what is easiest. If posting it here is too cumbersome then put it on ao3. Then keep it simple here Don’t create more work for yourself, unless it is what you want.
How about Repost an old Christmas flash here to save creating a new one.
Which brings me to the question, is there an easier way to scroll back through your previous posts here on WordPress? I know somebody else who has a blog (possibly it’s on a different website) and there’s like a table of contents so you could go through the months. Is that a thing here? I only look at it on my phone. I don’t know if it’s different on a computer. I’ve tried to scroll back, but it ends up I have to scroll past every post to go back. Is there an easier way?
BTW I am greatly enjoying your flashes and everyday I look forward to seeing them!!!

If there is I don’t know how to do it and it’s likely something that has to be paid extra for. I already have to pay a yearly fee for what I have and believe me it’s not much, lol, what I have, NOT the fee. I’m really not willing to pay any more than I do so unfortunately there is no better way

WordPress really IS horrendous – their search feature is ….practically unusable.
Case in point – you replied to my comment on Drummer Boy that this flash was a continuation of a flash in november. So i went to search november flashes for the one you meant.
page 1 – it lists the first FOUR flashes of november in reverse. And then it has the LAST four flashes from november. nothing in between till page 2.
i finally gave up and am copying each flash on a word document by date just so i can find the flash you were referring to. And that’s just a search of last month. i can’t even imagine how difficult it is to find any certain flash of any given year before that! They’re just not user friendly on the search feature at all.
