Having a very small family gathering today. Halloween Tea with sandwiches, sweets, tea, festive. Should be fun. Then tonight I shall watch Halloween. We won’t get any trick or treaters due to the “strongly discouraged” proclamation from our County. We don’t really get any here anyway. Last year we had one and some years NONE.

Sounds like fun, and you guys are so restricted and have been through so many fires and such, you deserve at least a small family gathering. Have fun.

Hope you had a Happy Halloween. We had a few trick or treaters. About 10 years ago we would have 100 kids to our door. I know that because we used to make up little goodie bags. And there were 100 in the package and we would definitely go through the 100 bags and sometimes then more loose candy after tha. All those kids have grown up now and aren’t going trick-or-treating and then with Covid only a few ventured out in my neighborhood.
