Here I am at work today. No indication whatsoever we will shut down (unless the president tells us to, I just don’t see it). It’s raining. We are trying to act normal as we can and laughing at the absurdity of the human race.
I went shopping at the grocery store Friday at work and was stunned at the mob scene I witnessed. The poor workers had to stay beyond their shifts to handle the madness. I have never seen anything like it. There’s a scene in the movie, Contagion, where something like that happened, and I felt like I was in some apocalyptic movie myself. I went yesterday afternoon and things were a lot calmer but they were still out of a lot of stuff like bread, paper products, cleaning stuff, and packaged foods like macaroni and cheese.
At least being at work, I was able to send my Bang story home, just in case. You never know. My office is in LA and the mayor here has shut down anything fun for the next two weeks, so, it’s best to be prepared for anything I guess.
Even my WW meetings are canceled for 3 weeks.
Anyway, I should have some time to write stuff since life is crazy. Maybe catch up on stuff at home. These are very strange times.

That there? That’s just not right. We should ALL be issued one of those at birth. Sure, I was invented long before ST was probably even a gleam in Gene’s eye, but I’d take mine now!
Funny, watching Scandal, what you would like about it is totally different from what I get. The star is CONSTANTLY drinking wine – it’s her trademark. That and popcorn. I mean, how she stays so skinny, I’d never know. But it’s a running gag through all 7 years.
Anyway, you may stay up and running at work as long as nobody there is tested positive, and if that happens, all bets are off. I, selfishly as snot- I admit – hope this means you get more enjoyment out of writing over the next few weeks, as it becomes one of your top sources of entertainment..
Who knows? You might even feel moved to watch Disco Season2. Cause I think once you bite into that first episode, you might be a goner for the rest of the episodes. And I so look forward to you:
1. admitting that I told you so and
2 Hearing you gush about it like I did last year.
We’ll see, I guess!
Glad the rush at the store did calm a little. I hope you saw my thing of Dan’s video, keeping his toilet paper in his safe. But clearly showing us his combination. He’s in LA, so you know where at least ONE roll is!

Sadly I do not have that glass with wine at work today! I could use it. HA HA
Ha yes, I did. Fortunately, before all the madness, we had bought a big pack of toilet paper at Costco. We have some. For now anyway. I am not happy with those hoarding it though.
Indeed season two is on my agenda! I swear…no really!

Strange times indeed.
We just got the first confirmed case in the county, but it was community acquired so there’s no doubt there will be more. Schools are shut down as of end of day today and movie theaters and the like are closed.
I will have to go to work no matter what.
The situation is changing by the hour. The hospital is at code bravo…meaning the emergency response teams are in charge.
I don’t even know how to feel anymore.

Yes indeed. But we can still read. Watch our stuff. And eat chips. LOL 🙂 ❤

Went to work today, now off until who knows when (supposedly two weeks but we’ll see). Got the notification that movie theaters are closing too. Also libraries. All my escapes from home, closed 😦
Hoping I’ll be able to write as well. I started a new story 🙂
Hugs!
