Apparently the other day when Simon Pegg said the new Star Trek movie would not include the AOS movie, he was right. The dude doing the movie has confirmed that it’s not related and it will be a new cast and be a return to “traditional Star Trek”, which I can only assume is yet another bash against the reboot movies.
Paramount disappoints and sucks again.

I wanna throw up. I guess IMDB has to make yet more changes.
Why all the hoopla if this was it?
Yeah. Throw up.

I agree. So disappointing. I can’t believe they jerked us around for this. 😦

And that’s EXACTLY what they did. Release the news with Chris’s Kirk pic, and then Simon tells us, and then a few days later, confirm what Simon said. That’s the EXACT DEFINITION of jerking people around. They knew this already – how dare they leave from the first announcement thinking it was ST 4. Because obviously it can’t be 4 if it doesn’t continue aos timeline.
I hate them.
And to think how excited I was when CBS brought Viacom and Paramount all under one umbrella so we could finally have the movie our aos guys had already contracted to do.

Yes, I hate them too. They can go out of business for all I care. Evil evil Paramount. They are a joke.

Well, not just paramount now. We have to blame CBS – they’re the big owner.

To Contact CBS/Paramount
When contacting CBS/Paramount, please remember to ALWAYS be polite and concise. Be brief and to the point, and write to ALL three locations below. What matters most in a campaign like this numbers and potential profit. funny they have to tell people to be nice. Because they know how much NOT NICE we want to be. And I bet a lot of people aren’t, in spite of their plea.

I’m heartbroken! I pray that the powers that be have a change of heart. Believe me I’ll be writing to them! Fans saved TOS years ago, when they tried to cancel it after two seasons, maybe fans can do it again. :(((((((((

We want our Pine and Quinto Kirk and Spock. Not new people. Stop with new. Continue with AOS
Add new to the TV shows not the movie
