I remember being at the conventions where they said that Nichelle would not autograph the photo where she was partially obstructed and I always wondered which one they meant and as I looked for pictures for this post, I realized! This one! Poor Nichelle, Leonard’s head is right in front of her! LOL
Thank you, boss. That is exquisitely awesome. The sentiments 51 years in the making. I L O V E D Star Trek from day one, 51 years ago. I could never have dreamed that 51 years into my future, it would mean a million times more to me now and be just as fresh and the love just as real as then. Star Trek changed me forever as that 13 year old girl. And with today’s other update, it’s still changing me even now.
OH! And, in body language, when we cross our arms, that means we are shutting out whatever is happening. And here, Spock alone has his arms crossed as Uhura has her hand on his shoulder. How fitting is that for us who just absolutely hate the Nyota MB character! He’s for sure not making out with her on the transporter pad here!
Quite true! And you notice Jim is quite deliberately leaning in toward Spock. And in fact three of those pictures they stand or sit very close together.
Happy Star Trek day! 🙂
I really really need to watch the original series. I have Netflix and no excuse not to. I may be seeing wrath of khan in theaters sunday though

I truly don’t remember many when they didn’t. But then, we can’t even keep up with how many times they touch each other in the series. Magnetism.
