This time I really mean it. Not going to do any flashes for January 2024
I need a break. If inspiration hits I’ll save them for next month, while I contemplate what writing Spirk means to me for this year.
If I get any information on my kitchen I will let you know. Otherwise my goal is to update stuff on AO3.

You deserve the break honey! We’ll be waiting if inspo strikes. Otherwise relax and enjoy the time off with no pressure.
And update AO3 as you can but no pressure there either.

You’ve done that before – specifically when you wrote your fingers off in December. And yeah, you do need a break from a LOT of frustrating and time-consuming stuff. We should just declare January every year the official Ivanw self-care/recovery month. Enjoy as much as you can!

I’m sincerely hoping that 2024 will be a better year for you! It’s been a tough year all around. Leaks in your place turning into the no kitchen situation is just unthinkable!
You need to rest, relax and regenerate your spirit (and your home). I’m glad you have a weekender cruise to look forward to. Maybe I’ll surf through the Ivan stuff from days and years gone by. (Any suggestions?) But I’ll steer clear of the super angsty stuff. Don’t think I can emotionally handle it now.
Write when or if your muse inspires you to update, but no pressure.
