I got the Bombay update done and it’s scheduled to post tomorrow morning!
And I am almost done with the chapter of The Wrong Captain (I am guessing sometime tomorrow)
So yay!
Oh and FYI if you don’t know about it, AO3 now has a feature where you can mute users. Not block but mute. I’ve been using it quite a bit and it’s great. Everyone who posts Spock/Uhura or Spock/Bones gets immediately muted, LOL. It’s lovely. So I highly recommend it if you don’t care to see that stuff.

(I’ve only been muted by one person. You know who that was. No names but their initials are TNPWS! LOL) I was actually going to write something nice on another of their posts (which is when I discovered they’d muted me.) Oh well, their loss.
Anyway – it’s a good feature. I never used it because I had so few readers, there was nobody to deal with. And NOW – NO PROBLEMS! YAY!!

I thought she outright blocked you. I have some people. Mute isn’t the same. You can still see their stuff if you want to but their stuff doesn’t show up when you search say all Star Trek AOS stories. That’s why I use it to block writers who write Spnes and Spuhura
I block commenters I don’t like LOL

Oh yeah, I can still read all her stuff. It just says the writer has muted you and you are not allowed to comment. I can also read all the other comments on her stuff.

I guess I don’t really understand the difference. I mean, it says “Sorry, you have been blocked by one or more of this work’s creators.” But I can see and search everything of her stuff. I just can’t comment. But I can read all the comments there.

OH – and YAY Bombaby update – I could barely live through these 2 weeks of that cliffie without an update last Friday, so yeah, I’ll be there early! And VERY happy for Wrong Captain update when that happens!

Is it possible just to mute some pairings, or some fandoms? There are some authors who write Kirk/Spock, but also write other pairings or other fandom’s that I have no interest in nor have I ever heard of!

I think you have to mute the writer. If you go looking for their work you can see anything they write even if you have muted them, but they won’t show up on your feed. I’ve muted people who write McCoy/Spock and Spock/Uhura but as far as I know they don’t write anyone else I am interested in so it’;s fine
