The goats were cute. They had chickens and llamas too, but I didn’t take their pictures. He got 4 different varieties. He already has two he’s working on/babying at home. It was nice when we were there. Cloudy now
Looks like a thoroughly pleasant and peaceful outing – great way to spend a Saturday morning. I used to grow really great tomatoes, but something happened to change all that a few years ago. I have no idea what. It was like a switch was flipped off. (npi)
But my parents? They (having grown up on farms) could grow anything, and did tons of canning and freezing every year. But would never go on a vacation because they were (they claimed) tied down to their huge garden. When I say huge, they had 2 acres and they planted about 1/4 of it in veggies. And had fruit trees everywhere. I’m sure M finds it fun and peaceful to work in the garden.
Can’t believe you didn’t take pics of the llamas. But at least we have a family llama so I get plenty of pics of him.
And you still have lots of weekend left for fun and relaxation. And shopping! ๐ ๐ ๐ ๐
What cute critters! The goat looks so sweet. Near me thereโs a farm that raises alpacas. They look so cuddly and huggable, makes me want to raise my own… which isnโt happening. Lol!
Looks like beautiful weather there.
We actually had snow overnight. It started as a day of rain, so when the temps went down and it switched to snow during the night as I was at work, the parking lot turned to ice. Someone fell in the parking lot because of the ice. Ughhh!
Tomorrow is supposed to be nice. Going to a maple maple syrup farm. They are having brunch there. :). How many weight watchers points will I consume tomorrow? Whoโs counting?

HA HA on the WW points. Now that I looked up the creatures it might have been Alpacas! HA. All I know is he grinned at me, showing me his full set of teeth
Apparently alpacas are more even tempered than llamas, so theyโre a better choice for a meet and greet event!
Iโm just double checked. I definitely did NOT get the notification for your flash fiction Friday story! Unless you went to spam? Idk. I have to go check. :]
I brought you back from the trash. Lol! You clean up nicely! ๐ Lol!๐
Side note- The weather today is what Spring should be! Iโm listening to a songbird singing itโs tune outside my window! ๐ Now Iโm off to watch how they tap maple trees to make maple syrup. ๐
What a beautiful day!
The farm looks so cute!
The goats are adorable. There is a nature park near here that was advertising a baby goat cuddling contest ๐ for a donation could be entered to win a cuddling session with their new baby goats
I hope you and M had fun! I read above the M got some new plants to baby ๐

Now based on eveningstar talking about alpacas, I think they might have been those instead of llamas! So sorry!

I just found this:
More money is spent on gardening than on any other hobby.
