Ah the best laid plans of mice and men.
I got myself a cold and just didn’t have it in me to write ANYTHING this weekend. It was a total bust writing wise. I’ve been struggling with the cold all weekend and I just decided not to fight it. It will get written when it gets written.
I did watch Beyond though. So I guess that’s something. Though I did cringe every time Spock talked about Uhura. Bleh.
I may not have a rambles up until later in the week.

Aww I hope you feel better soon! The weather up in Canada is also freezing, and I’m trying my best not to catch a cold. Hopefully I can survive the winter
And yeah, Spock and Uhura’s “romance” is really cringeworthy. They have literally no chemistry lol. Except for that tiny scene at the first movie when Jim saw them kiss for the first time, the whole relationship feels really redundant and irrelevant

I hate that kiss in the first movie. It’s so inappropriate to make out in front of your superior officer ugh, don’t get me started.

I went into the first movie completely blind, not knowing anything about Star Trek beforehand, so it was kinda funny seeing Jim’s expressions at that time. But yeah, now I know more, I hate it too lol. None of Spuhura makes any sense
