There’s no easy way to say that today my mother passed away after nearly 95 years.
I was there in the room as she took her last breath.
I’m going to be out of commission for a bit but I will be back. Thank you

Oh, Ivan…I’m sorry for your loss of someone who has always been there for you & loved you. Their absence will be a wound to your heart for quite a while, but it will get better. Their pain has ended & it’s OK to feel relief over that. Hugs 💕

There are never words to say – because there just aren’t any “right” words. But you have my thoughts and sympathies. You made a lot of great memories with your mom – trips and special times together. I was always envious of how much fun you had with your Mom and sister.
It’s crazy what a big part of our lives you and your writing and your experiences have become. I’ll never know exactly how that happened, but I’m glad it did.
Breathe in peace as much as possible, knowing her pain is over.
And I’m so sorry for the pain in your heart right now.

I’m so sorry to hear about your loss – it’s hard to pull together the right words at times like these so I’m falling back on the tried and trusted (and not meant tackily)- I grieve with thee.
Take all the time you need, don’t let anything (work or otherwise) dictate how you grieve or what you need during this time. It’s important to focus on yourself and your own self care!
