I’m behind. I know I am. I have stuff that needs updating. Catch a Falling Star and Clarity come to mind. And I am working on the second part of Tastes Like Real Ice Cream.
But…this week is a drag on me. I’m tired and the stress is catching up with me. I am kind of unmotivated. I think it will pass soon, but there it is right now. I’m sorry.
Still in a holding pattern with everything really in life. My co-worker whose father was also in hospice passed away last night. So he’s at peace at least.
Perfect weather continues. Sister is having another above ground pool put in her backyard. She had one for 15 plus years and had it taken down as it was wearing out. She didn’t know if she wanted another one but with everything, she decided to go for it. It was backordered for months considering the pandemic and everyone buying a pool, but it finally came and the guy went to put it in and one of the posts was wrong. It was defective. So he had to order another part and the waiting continues.
Here’s a picture of what he’s done so far.

I do have a chapter of Cosmic Love coming tomorrow.
And Garden Solar Bug, these are the kinds of bugs I can handle!

I read the last chapter of Clarity just this afternoon because I needed a fix, even if it was a used fix. 🙂
Do you think your vaccination has made you feel more tired? Or just life catching up with you?
A pool sounds like just what the doctor (attorney) ordered. Especially these days when all the pools are closed, and I guess you don’t want to go out to the beach and surf. ha ha
More than ever, it just seems to me everything is what it is, and everyone handles it and gets by best we can.
I’m just glad spring is here. Love your pics.

❤ thank you on the pics!
I thought about that but it's been over a week since so I think it's likely just life fatigue.
I really want to get Clarity finished too so I really need to get back to it. Folks are expecting a wedding and I have something in mind for it but I just have to force myself to do it. I will.
Yes, I am very much looking forward to the pool. Our community pools, including our condo complex, have now been allowed to open but I'd rather wait for the private pool ya know? 🙂
Yes, I think we are all muddling through what we can and doing the best circumstances allow.

I’m shocked your public pools are reopened. Shocked, I say. I wouldn’t use a public pool yet for nothing!
Did you hear about the 104 year old woman who has survived COVID – TWICE? She got it twice. So nope, no public pools. Absolutely having a private one sounds much better no matter what state, or country for that matter, one lives in. https://miami.cbslocal.com/video/5468730-web-extra-104-year-old-woman-survives-covid-for-the-second-time/

No I didn’t! But bless her! How strong she must be!
Yep no public pools for me either. Nope

And I am furious – ABSOLUTELY FURIOUS they won’t report if she was vaccinated before getting it the 2nd time. She tested positive in March, so definitely she would have had weeks to get the vaccine and been first on the list of people eligible at her age and vulnerability. I hate the media. Hate them.

Maybe but I know from a lady who had Covid in December that she was told to wait a bit before getting the vaccine so I have no idea if that was the case with her

If I were 104, I wouldn’t care. I’d make them give me a new one every couple of weeks! haha

HA HA
I actually saw another article that says the old dear, who lives in Columbia I guess, had just gotten the vaccine prior to her diagnosis. Don’t know which one they have available in Colombia or what the criteria to get one was though. She said she feels great now!

Which is still probably better than I feel! haha

Stress catches up to us all. Better to take the time to relax and move through the feelings until you’re feeling motivated again. Or at least somewhat motivated. 🙂
Love and hugs to you.
And hey, yay for a pool! Even if more waiting is ugh.

Love the pool. I’d like to have one in my backyard… When the kids were little, with me working nights, it worried me that they might be in the pool without me watching them. Because either I was in my bed asleep or I would fall asleep while being outside with them. And I felt it cost too much and be too much maintenance for something that we would only use from June to September. In hindsight, I guess we really should’ve made the effort to put one in. Although my backyard is fairly big, it is almost entirely our sprawling septic system. Lol so we would’ve had to try to fit it in somewhere! Hope the pool will be ready soon. The pandemic has created all sorts of back log of orders! There’s even apparently a shortage of ketchup packets, because so many people are getting takeout food.
(So weird this last sentence showed up in the email name box below when I went to send this message. 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
j , I love the story about the 104 -year-old who has survived Covid twice. I also love her sarcophagus stretcher pretty cool and great for isolating her from others. Haven’t seen anything like that at my job here in New York.
Did anyone notice this afternoon ao3 acting wonky? I was reading a story and I couldn’t go to the next chapter. So I opened up another tab that had a chapter of a story of Ivan’s that I’m rereading and it wouldn’t let me comment. It gave me some weird message about too much traffic. WTF?! Lol!!
Please Ivan, don’t feel you owe us updates on any type of schedule. Issues that you have in real life will need to take precedence. We’ll still be here. No one should complain about your output of stories.
Most important, take care of yourself and your family. Sending virtual hugs!

I had no issues with A03 but admittedly I didn’t really go on there much today
Being an above ground pool (doughboy they called them when I was young) it’s definitely less expensive than a builtin. We have been able to use the only one from about May to October and it’s totally worth it.
Thank you, I appreciate your concern ❤

Big hugs
Take your time. Rest. Relax. Your faithful readers will wait patiently for any update 🙂
Fingers crossed the pool part comes soon so you can soak up the sun in a private not public setting.
I don’t think I’ve been in a pool in several years lol

First of all – big hugs and I hope you feel better soon! I’ve had lots of funk days lately, so I can relate. Just relax and take your time. You don’t owe your readers anything. Obviously we love updates, but we’ll wait patiently. Life has always priority and it should.
Ah, a pool. That would be a total waste for us, lol. Way too cold, even in summer. The kids would’ve loved it though, I’m sure.
