“What are you going to do now?” Nyota asked him as they both watched their unconscious captain breathe as machines all around him beeped and blurped.
“Same as I always do,” Spock replied. “Forgive him, save him, sacrifice for him, advise him, stand up for him and to him, stand by his side no matter what, believe in him, take him in every way that he will allow me, as always.”
She nodded. Squeezed his arm. “We’ll mind the ship. As we always do.”
Spock appreciated it as she moved away and he moved closer to his T’hy’la.

You said it was short. And it is. But gah! The amount of emotion and love you packed into that is amazing!
Well done!

Such unconditional love!!! ❤️💚🖖 Thank you for this.
I really needed this today. 😘 Kudos to you for this!
Today’s situation- My oldest daughter is taking a medical leave of absence for the rest of her college semester, for mental health issues. She’s a junior she should be a senior in her final semester but had a medical leave of absence back in the Fall of sophomore year. No idea if we’ll have the money to send her back again. Meanwhile we’re paying through the nose to rent a room in an apartment across the street from her campus in Brooklyn. And my twins’ college in central Massachusetts (they are sophomores ) still hasn’t decided if they’re closing for the rest of the semester, closing for a few weeks, or going to online classes, or just carrying on as usual with regular classes on campus. I just took some Benadryl and I’m hoping I can get some sleep before I go to work later tonight. It was the best of times it was the worst of times. Right now it’s looking pretty much like the worst of times! 😢💔
