Upcoming this week in updates will be the next chapter of Best Friends (as I have promised this will be completed by March 31st and I absolutely mean that), Transfer Request, The Ties That Bind, a Flash, and perhaps a new chapter of Kirk’s Children. Those are my plans for the week, writing wise.
I have so many stories in my head, I am trying not to bombard you with new ones too much but know they are out there and coming.
The best part of the time change is the more day light. I absolutely hate November and December when I come home at 5 and it’s dark.
My moving my sister’s rug has been changed until Saturday the 16th due to the possibility of rain this past weekend. I think that will finally be the end of the rain. Spring will be here soon and I can’t wait. I am tired of winter!
On the nearing conclusion list is When I Loved You, so look for that in the next couple of weeks too. Bitter Frost will only have a few more to go too. I am sad about that because I want that Jim to be happy with a boy but it’s just not going to happen for him. I might be ending My Heart’s a Virgin within the next month to two months too. So there are endings coming, to be replaced by new, of course. But I think you should all be pleased at how often I update something!
Otherwise, nothing supery dupery new to report. M leaves on the 29th for a week. During that time I also have an eye doctor appointment. Yes, we live such exciting lives!

I am very much looking forward to this updates! Even some of the endings. Bc yes I don’t want them to end but I want to see how they end. If that makes sense.

Oh and I do not drive like Kirk but a little known fact (maybe it is) is that I had a phobia of driving for years (in California not totally surprising, but on the other hand you have to drive everywhere), anyway I did not even learn to drive until my 30s. It’s funny my youngest niece (not grand nieces those are the babies) is now 24 or 25 I forget and she is afraid to drive and they all want ME to talk to her because I used to be her. Anyway, I still don’t dig it and do it as little as possible but my heart no long races and I don’t sweat profusely anymore!

You know – you’d have to be crazy NOT to have a phobia driving in CA. I don’t think it’s weird at all – I wouldn’t wanna drive anywhere near LAX for anything! And since you have 💡 “IDEA’ comments closed, I’ll put it here. I’m 100% behind your new choice. Why not bring closure where you can, and that will free up your creativity (which has been kicked up into overdrive lately anyway!) to even more enjoyment of working on the others.

Yay! Glad you approve. I am actually excited to finish it now, so I am so glad I decided to do so.
I don’t drive by LAX because of that, but let me tell you which is truly truly frightening. I freak out even as a passenger. There is a part of the freeway systems here where three freeways transition at the same time into and away from each other. 110, 101 and the 5 all at the same time in this little narrow section of the freeways and if you blink you miss where you are supposed to go. There are a million cars in this area and NO ONE wants to let you in anywhere for fear they will miss theirs or just because they are dicks, I dunno. Scariest part of all the freeways here, in my opinion. The 110 is an ancient ancient freeway, looks old too. But yeah, I will never ever drive in that area. Ever. Ever. LOL

I hear ya. The closest exit to home here coming on the freeway from the west…well, you just can’t get here from there. You have to cross 4 lanes of pretty heavy traffic within just a few thousand feet to make the exit. Just can’t be done. This entire area was reconstructed in the past few years (took FOREVER), complete with toll roads down the middle. And to accommodate those, where there used to be convenient exits for every main intersecting street, now there’s only one exit for maybe 3 main streets. The way 2 highways intersect right there and dealing with that mess is totally unusable from the west. I’m sure the design looked good on paper and the $$ bottom line. But IRL, totally a dangerous or impossible mess. And traffic here even at 2:30am is MUCH heavier than rush hour in smaller cities. They never sleep here either. And obviously, LA is at least 10X that much traffic and number of lanes and problems.

I have some scallops and salmon in the freezer I can probably fix myself. I eat fish every day (nope not exaggerating) so that’s an easy choice for me to have. I am sure he will leave me some hard boiled eggs, and I have no issue with making toast, and lots of fruit will be left for me as well. Get yogurt at the store and I am probably set!

I can’t believe that I ever commented on the final chapter of The Experiment before this. I read it on Friday night at work. My only explanation is, I had essentially had not slept more than three hours that day. My Fitbit didn’t even record any sleep! Lol! I recall reading and enjoying the final chapter and thinking about replying but apparently never got to the actual comment sending.
The Experiment made me happy. Spock and Jim got their happily ever after. ❤
