We were coming back from dinner and there was one of those signs that advertiser’s stick on your door. It said Buds R US Deliveries.
I said, what the heck is this? M says, it’s one of those delivery services. Oh. You mean like the food delivery places. He looks at me. Shakes his head. No POT. I look at it. There’s even a drawing of pot on it. Yeah. Um. Okay then.

Ha ha well it’s legal here now. When I was parking at Target today I could smell someone nearby who had clearly been smoking it.

I’m a big believer that just because you CAN do a thing doesn’t mean you SHOULD do a thing. I do not understand how a country that has gone nuts regulating every inch of the country against smoking can just openly support the use of recreational pot. Smoking is smoking and everyone else’s smoke bothers my lungs, no matter what produces the smoke. And I HATE the smell of incense and of pot. They both nauseate me.

I would’ve stared at the flier and wondered why do they deliver plants? Who needs plants delivered?
