Take a look at those temperatures. That’s my week! Oiye! This week is going to be murder! I hate when October gets like this.
Those days with the thermometers there is an excessive heat warning.
I hope it comes back down by this coming Saturday, October 28th, because my house desperately needs to be cleaned. I am quite embarrassed by it. But who wants to clean when it’s a million degrees. Yes folks, currently it is hotter here than it is in Vegas right now.
In other news I turned Sheer Determination into a one-shot. It’s going to be two chapters. The current full first chapter is up at AO3. Look for the conclusion and second chapter up later this week.
I finished the chapter of What Happened to Spock and put it live. It’s sort of a transitional chapter.
I think my Cinderella story, When I Fall in Love, is up next after that so I hope to get working on that this week.
This year we have decided to go out to Thanksgiving dinner next month so over the weekend we picked our restaurant and I made the reservation.
We plan on seeing Geostorm this week. Didn’t do so well in the box office but it’s a disaster movie, I’m sure it’s terrible, they all are. LOL.
Other than that I have not much to say. Had a quiet weekend where I sort of just lazed around like a sloth.
Enjoy!
Almost forgot, here’s the cheesecake! It was soooo good.

Oh. My. Lord. That heat! That’s insane, especially for the end of October. And I thought it was bad here with the 70s, when I’m craving the cooler weather. Here’s sincerely hoping it cools down for you by the weekend!
Sheer Determination gets me in the feels, and Christ, that chapter of WHTS just gutted me like a fish. I blame you fully, and thank you just as hard.
I can’t wait to see where the Cinderella story goes next! π
Sometimes, slothing is exactly what you need to do. Enjoy it when you can!

I wanted to cry a little when I saw those temps, I’ll be honest. I’m in an angsty mode so it will be interesting to make the jump to light speed…oops, I mean over to light fluffy fairytale.

Those temps are insane. Thrilled it’s nothing like that here. I didn’t know you ever got that hot there in October.
I’ll be cleaning this weekend too. Moving. Yea! I’m beside myself. 8 blocks from work – no more driving an hour a day. No more cig smoke. No more someone else ranting/cursing on their phone for 2-3 hours at night. No more 2nd storage cost. It will be like moving from not heaven to heaven.
At least your AC is working now. That would be unbearable otherwise.
Looking forward to reading the updates this week. TY for all the work.

I’m completely happy you are moving away from that crazy lady. I am concerned for your lack of furniture but as long as you are happy with it, then it’s cool. Hopefully you can get some dishes and pots and pans at least for your kitchen. I know it’s more money but I think considering the way things have turned there, it is for the best.
It does get monstrously hot like this in October but the last few years has been mild so I am extremely disappointed that we are getting hit with it this year. Together with the wind it makes for disasters like we saw up in Northern California in my beloved wine country. One of my fondest memories ever was of a Thanksgiving trip we took there in 2004. It was the best one I think I have ever spent, honestly. It is sad for me to see how much they are hurting. I read many stories about deaths and destruction there this weekend and it has really hurt.
Not as much as naked pics of Miles, though, LOL

Read WHTS and Sheer Determination on AO3. Both made me π¦
Wow that temperature! I’m sorry. Here its Fall weather. High 60s, low 70s.
That’s right, Thanksgiving is fast approaching as is Christmas! Not ready. Not ready for Halloween next week either. Still need to carve the pumpkins and get candy π
Quiet, lazy weekends are good π
Have fun seeing Geostorm! Every time Stephen and I saw the trailer for it at the theater he bursts out laughing at the scene with the plane just falling from the sky.

If you ever saw the Rock’s San Andreas (and I think there is a San Andreas 2 on the way) there is nothing more ridiculous than that. Trust me. Even 2012 couldn’t be as absurd as San Adreas. But they are fun to see and that’s the point. My all time favorite disaster movie is The Towering Inferno! LOL
I envy your temps. I’ve heard a rumor that by November the temps will be much cooler but until I actually feel it, it’s only a rumor!

Wow! It’s seriously hot as Vulcan there! Not my cup of tea! Although the inevitable snow that we get, isn’t my cup of tea either. Sigh!!! I would enjoy Fall a lot more if it wasn’t followed by Winter !
Thanks for expanding the one shot (Sheer Determination)! My poor heart! Didn’t read the update to WHTS yet. But you’re killing me with angst!
Enjoy your week! β€
